This Integrated Management System (IMS) / Quality Manual for Manufacturing contains policies and procedures that address ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 for quality assurance and environmental management systems, respectively. The ISO 9001 quality management system serve as the platform and, using the ISO 9001-ISO 14001 correspondence, the policy statements for an Environmental Management System were established to come up with an integrated policy manual. Together with the policy manual are the common procedures such as:
- control of documents – to address the distribution, review and approval of documents; identification of obsolete version both for QMS and EMS.
- control of records – to address the control requirements such as identification, storage, retrieval, protection of both quality and environmental records
- internal audit – to address the requirements for planning, conducting, reporting the audits as well as the follow-up of corrective actions
- control of non-conformities and corrective and preventive actions – to address the necessary identification of non-conformities that relates to quality and environment as well as the formulation of corrective and preventive actions.
